The beating heart of the 2026 programme is the professional production of The Marriage of Figaro (Le Nozze di Figaro), marking the prestigious completion of the Festival’s Mozart trilogy. Presented in a brand-new, full-stage production at the Teatro Da Ponte, this production stands out for its high artistic profile, featuring a cast of internationally renowned professionals selected from London and Italy.

The musical excellence of the staging will be further enriched by the Venice Chamber Orchestra.

The Festival is not just about performance, but a cultural mission aimed at the future. We firmly believe in the importance of bringing new generations closer to opera: for this reason, in addition to the three official performances, we have scheduled a full performance dedicated exclusively to local school students. This performance, entrusted to the talents of the Academy (the cover cast), represents a key moment for outreach and engagement, bringing the beauty of opera directly to the hearts of young people.
