Bartolo

Born in Ferrara, he obtained his first and second-level academic diplomas in singing from the G.B. Martini Conservatoire in Bologna with maximum points, presenting two theses on vocal interpretation between the 19th and 20th centuries.

He furthered his study of the Lieder repertoire with Angelika Kirchschlager at the Eppaner Liedsommer, and the opera repertoire by participating in various masterclasses.

He has performed Gill in Il segreto di Susanna, Fiorello in Il barbiere di Siviglia, Antonio in The Marriage of Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), Dulcamara in Lโ€™elisir dโ€™amore, Uberto in La serva padrona, Malokkio in La notte di San Silvestro, Ben in The Telephone, and Angelotti / Sciarrone / A Jailer in Tosca.

He has performed in many solo concerts covering sacred and chamber repertoires, with programmes ranging from the Baroque to the 20th century, with a particular focus on German Lieder.
