Pietro Semenzato

Having graduated in piano and orchestral conducting between Venice and Milan, he refined his artistic profile at the theatres of Treviso and Novara, also obtaining a Masterโ€™s degree in vocal chamber music with maximum points and honours.

His multifaceted career is divided between his work as a pianist, conductor, and composer, including the creation of the chamber operas Il falso tradimento and Il musicista invidioso, both of which were well received by critics. He currently holds the position of Principal Musical Director of the Venice Chamber Orchestra and regularly collaborates with the Teatro "A. Ponchielli" in Cremona.

Alongside his concert activities, he works as an editor for prestigious publishing houses such as Ricordi, and is committed to cultural promotion as a consultant for the Fondazione Bianchi and as a member of Juvenice.

He is a tenured professor at the "Jacopo Tomadini" Conservatoire in Udine.
