Nicolò Donini

Born in Bologna, Nicolò Donini studied piano and singing, specialising at the Parma Conservatoire.

In 2018, he was admitted to the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro, making his debut at the Rossini Opera Festival (ROF) in the roles of Lord Sidney and Don Prudenzio in Il viaggio a Reims, and has since been a regular guest at the festival. As a student of the "Rodolfo Celletti" Academy, he has debuted various roles at the Festival della Valle d’Itria.

Highlights of his career include Le trouvère at the Festival Verdi in Parma and major Rossini roles such as Don Basilio in Il barbiere di Siviglia and Mustafà in L’italiana in Algeri. Among his most recent engagements are Carmen at the Teatro San Carlo and Masetto in Don Giovanni in Bologna.
