Emily Christina Loftus was an Associate Artist of the Welsh National Opera (2023/24) and trained at the Royal College of Music and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
In the 2025/26 season, she made her debut at the Edinburgh International Festival as a Rising Star of Voice. Her recent roles with the Welsh National Opera include Cherubino in The Marriage of Figaro (Le Nozze di Figaro) and Gretel in Hรคnsel und Gretel at Opera Holland Park.
In 2026, she will make her main-stage debut at Opera North as Barbarina, before performing Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro at the Da Ponte Opera Festival in Italy.
A finalist at the Kathleen Ferrier Awards, she boasts a busy concert schedule in prestigious venues such as the Usher Hall and the Queenโs Hall.
