Tim Alexander, originally from Dorset, completed his studies at the Royal Northern College of Music.

Among his recent opera roles are Guglielmo in Così fan tutte (Da Ponte Opera Festival), Timour in Le Roi de Lahore (Dorset Opera), Marchese D’Obigny in La Traviata (Oxford Opera), and Marcello in La Bohème (Bread and Bus Stop Opera).

In 2024, he debuted in the role of Robert Penny in Paul Carr's opera Under the Greenwood Tree.

He has also performed Leporello in Don Giovanni (Lyric Opera Studio Weimar) and the title role in The Marriage of Figaro (Le Nozze di Figaro) with Opera on Location.

He made his television debut for the BBC Proms and has sung regularly with the Edvard Grieg Kor in Norway.
